American Laser Centers' unique Skin Rejuvenation Protocol combines the revitalizing effects of our energy-based Skin Rejuvenation system with the gentle exfoliating properties of Microdermabrasion to offer you safe, comfortable and effective skin renewal.

Our Skin Rejuvenation Protocol targets darker, pigmented lesions and spider veins, stimulates new collagen production and eliminates older, outer skin layers through Microdermabrasion to reveal your newly-toned and revitalized skin to the world.

Technology
American Laser Centers' Skin Rejuvenation Protocol uses advanced combined-source technology, which combines the beneficial effects of pulsed laser light with the extra safety and fine-tuned control of radio frequency (RF) energy. Many alternative treatments rely on a single source or type of treatment, and fail to provide the full benefits of a combined treatment protocol such as American Laser Centers' Skin Rejuvenation Protocol.

The number of sessions required for a complete course of treatment varies based on the type of skin conditions being treated and individual characteristics of the patient in question.

The specially-designed Skin Rejuvenation treatment head is applied to the skin, cooling the upper skin layers, while giving a soothing anesthetic effect. Laser and RF energy are applied in a series of short pulses, sometimes producing a sensation akin to a quick pinch.

To enhance the effectiveness of Skin Rejuvenation treatments, gentle exfoliation using Microdermabrasion takes place between the Skin Rejuvenation treatments. Microdermabrasion uses fine crystals that are blown over the skin and then immediately collected using the instrument's vacuum head, removing old skin and allowing the more youthful and radiant skin cells from the Skin Rejuvenation therapy to come to the surface of the skin more quickly.

Skin Rejuvenation Therapy - Information
Each Skin Rejuvenation treatment will be followed in a few weeks by a Microdermabrasion treatment. The Skin Rejuvenation treatment evens your skin tone and increases collagen production, which makes your skin smoother, firmer and more vital and decreases the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. The Microdermabrasion treatment complements the Skin Rejuvenation treatment by exfoliating the old, dead skin covering the renewed dermal layer far quicker than nature alone would act, bringing the new, more radiant layer to the surface.

A Microdermabrasion treatment works by gently blowing sterile microscopic crystals over the skin, using a patented, hand-held application tool which also whisks away crystals and exfoliated skin by vacuum, leaving your skin smoother, more radiant and youthful-looking. A Microdermabrasion treatment takes 20 to 30 minutes, depending on the area covered, and does not require any recovery period.

Skin Tightening
Sagging skin and wrinkles on your face are some of the most obvious signs of age. Until recently, the only ways you could fight the effects of time on your facial appearance involved injections or surgical facelifts, with results that too often resulted in an obvious, unnatural appearance.

You now have another safe and effective option. Skin Tightening from American Laser Centers uses clinically-tested infrared and radio frequency (RF) energies to stimulate healthy collagen remodeling inside your skin, to tighten sagging skin and naturally fill in wrinkles at the jaw line, around your eyes, at your brow line and around your mouth and cheeks. Unlike treatments that paralyze or mechanically tighten your skin, our Skin Tightening stimulates natural, healthy processes inside your skin that make it look and act younger and firmer, the way it used to be.

After as few as three treatment sessions spaced three to four weeks apart, wrinkles start to fill in and sagging skin tightens up and return to its original contours. The benefits of Skin Tightening treatments can last as long as two years.

How does it work?
The infrared and radio frequency (RF) energies produced by American Laser Centers' customized AmeriLight systems penetrate the surface of your skin to heat the collagen inside your skin and promote collagen remodeling over time, while immediately promoting skin tissue tightening as a result of deep heating. The treatment head actively cools the surface of your skin to minimize or eliminate any heat-related discomfort during the treatment process. The cooling factor of the treatment head is adjustable to each individual patient's heat sensitivity.

Collagen is a key component of your skin's elasticity and firmness. Once collagen remodeling is promoted by Skin Tightening treatments, skin becomes naturally more elastic and firm, filling in wrinkles and bringing sagging areas back closer to their original contours.
